Getting started.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

I believe that Nature has provided us with all we need to be healthy. Whether we are fighting or recovering from disease, trying to boost the immune system, or just seeking to maintain optimal health - every thing we need can be found in nature, if we but know how to recognize and use these treasures. While I could never hope to learn ALL there is to know about natural healing and health maintenance, I can share that which I already know and have experienced. Therefore, this "treasure chest" is my effort to reveal the basics of Mother Earth's bounty, and to help people better understand its use.

I also strongly believe that man-made "improvements" on nature can inadvertently backfire, resulting in health problems. Although my blog is primarily intended to present Mother Earth's ingredients for good health, I have also included information about food and medicinal products that interfere with health and how we can counteract their ill effects.

Please bear with me .... this publication IS a challenge, and parts of this endeavor are sure to remain under construction for ... well, maybe forever! I will, however, give my best effort as time and energy permit, and readers' comments/constructive criticism and supplemental information will always be welcome.
